On November 20th, the Select Board held a meeting about what action to take regarding the hazardous Old Reservoir Dam. Representatives for the State presented three options:
- Repair the dam to full height
- Partially remove the dam, restoring the flow of the river
- Fully remove the dam
along with outdated price estimates. If the presentation slides are available, I'll link to them. You can also watch the video of the meeting.
Here are my notes. Feel free to add your own observations. And reply here with your thoughts for/against dam removal.

This is a letter I received from the Nipmuc Tribal Council about their views on dam removal and river restoration.
